Courtesy of comic blogger Dorian comes the cover art for the upcoming Doctor Thirteen trade: As Dorian puts it "How can you not want to rush out and buy that book?"
I have no idea who most of these characters are. The guy in the trenchcoat is Doctor 13. The ghost is probably JEB Stuart from the Haunted Tank. Past that you're on your own.
Yes, that's infectious lass. Another recent appearance of original LSH-ers. Though I'm not really following the comic, according to what I've read there's no really good explanation to why she's in the comic, but she mentions that she was finally given membership in the LSH, and then later "kicked out" again or something like that. No idea if it connects to the whole 52 thing or to the current JLA/JSA/LSH "lightning saga" thing, which has finally brought back the REAL Legion of Superheros and not the cheap substitutes we've had to live with for the last 12 years.

The doubt began to trickle in when Dorian referred to it as a work of "postmodern theory applied to superhero comics." :(
ReplyDeleteChris Sims thinks it's awesome and he's never steered me wrong before.
ReplyDeleteChris Sims has won my trust immediately with that Doctor-Doom-Vexed-By-Squirrels panel.
ReplyDeleteReminds me pleasantly of my regular "Bunnies & Burrows: I6 - Ravenloft" runs, where Strahd is taken down by rabbits, owls and the occasional titmouse.
Is that Infectious Lass I see on the far left?
