Stunning and Insane: New Reviews of Nebulith (and Red & Pleasant Land)
-
Audrey Cusack did an in-depth review of Nebulith and the recently
re-released Red & Pleasant Land.
On Nebulith:
*"All in all, Nebulith is a triumph, and ...

Missing the very important "post-apocalyptic" genre and appears to be missing multiple RPGs in that category (yes, it has Gamma World..4E version only...and Rifts TWICE, but it takes some real round about finagling to get to either). For me, this is insufficient.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how it misses almost all the games I play (except FASERIP and, to be fair, "Just search for the name of the show + RPG" - that's pretty much how I found out about Xena the RPG). LotFP for fantasy? Usagi Yojimbo for samurai? I Am The Weapon for superheroes? Demon City for horror? Now that I think of it - there's just nothing about horror games in the whole picture...
ReplyDeleteI like how it calls 0e the fundamentalist gygaxian game instead of 1e...clearly has not spent a lot of time with grogs...
