ReplyDeleteI actually got to meet Shatner this Shatnerday. First I had to work ten days in a row, but I was able to go to the Chicago Comic Con this weekend. It was cool to see the various actors from the different Star Trek series. Shatner was charging $75 for autographs, which I thought was a bit much. Especially since John de Lancie was offering Shatner "autographs" for half that.

Nick, my understanding (based upon George Takei talking about it on the Howard Stern Show) is that at most cons the stars get a flat fee for autograph sessions and the folks they have contracted with set the price for the autographs.
