Mince Pie Fest 2024: Waitrose (Un-Numbered)

The pastry has a bit of a salty taste, and I'm not a fan of salt, but
otherwise it has a decent flavour and a good, firm, texture. The filling is

So I guess Starfire comes from planet 8
So this map is for the Vega star system, setting of the Omega Men comics, as it appears in the pre-crossover-of-the-moment DC Universe. I don't know anything about the Omega Men, but figuring out what this map means in the absence of that information would be an interesting exercise. I think something like this map would make for a cool science-fantasy/planetary romance D&D setting.

To me it looks like the setting for the inevitable RPG that combines (the as yet unfinished) Fleet Captain miniatures rules with the imaginary mass combat rules from (the suspiciously elusive) Lazfodder.
ReplyDeleteNot that I've thought about it at all, but the first module could be named "Lacuna Lucidity". Just throwing it out there.
Seriously though, where did Lazfodder go?
Can you literally not find the file?

Or is this more of metaphorical "why haven't you run the damn thing?" inquiry?

ReplyDeleteI couldn't find the gameblog post with the link to the file. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteI'm confident that you'll run it when you're ready, and it'll be awesome.
Great, now I'm picturing what would happen if Kirk met Starfire.
ReplyDeleteCulacao (Planet #2) has an interesting sexual dimorphism created by Alan Moore (Omega Men #27): males are humanoid but females look like large Snails. Kirk would be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteVoorl (Planet #14) had Velorpians who could multiply to produce a hundred offspring.
Kirk would still get his freak on with aplomb!
ReplyDeleteI have to wonder if the Xiliens hail from one of the "not yet seen" planets. Xiliens are an emotionless race that control a giant monster.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I feel running a setting where eating meat or animal products is forbidden.
ReplyDeleteDang, dude - since I also know nothing about Omega Men, you've gotten me thinking about what everything could mean in a planetary romance setting.
ReplyDeleteAargh - I've already got campaigns to work on. I don't need another! Well, maybe I could file this away for a future ConstantCon game...
