I came across this quiz over at Dungeoneering Dad.
You are a d8: You are the true adventurer! Dragons rescued, princesses slayed, and all that business while O Fortuna plays in the background. Your social calender is crammed with heroic deeds, and you've personally saved the world from ultimate destruction at least twice. You are reliable, perhaps a bit predictable, but overall a shining example of what happens when courage meets determination.

After a veeeeerrrryyyy long, and mostly unplanned, hiatus, Stuart and I got
together to play more Stargrave in recent days. It was good! It was also a
bit ...
i, too, am a d8!
ReplyDeleteI am the Devious d4. Also, my new MC name.
ReplyDeleteI, too, am a d8. And the proprietor of that shop used to be part of my gaming circle a liitle over a decade ago....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteYeah d4 here.
i thought the game vs death was actually an interesting question. my first instinct was to go with chess, because that's the game i'm best at of the choices. but then i thought, well, death is probably better than i am at all those games, so i went with go fish, the game that introduces the most luck into the equation.
ReplyDeletealso, d20
You are a d12: You are a diamond in the rough, a delicate flower among the thorns, a spork among the spoons. You are the legendary girly gamer! Now I'm not saying you're a girl, and not all girls will fall into this category, but let's be honest: You do. You bring a refreshing new perspective to the adventure party which others consider bewildering in the least. You tend to break with every tradition you encounter, insisting that castles can be more cozy and less cold, and demanding that the dungeons be less dreary. Things like this tend to drive the DM insane. But don't misunderstand me! You are still a valuable member of the group, and can still kick ass when you need to. You just do so while wearing stylish high-heels.
ReplyDeleteIT told me that . . .
ReplyDeleteYou are a d10: You are analytical, rational, and logical. You see the world around you as a succession of problems that can only be navigated via insightful and elegant solutions. You insist on precision are often forced to waste valuable time correcting others. Your attention to detail is extraordinary, and will sometimes focus all your attention on details that others consider unimportant. You are not so interested in doing the right thing, as you are in finding the best way to do it.
Cayvie: I used the exact same thought process!
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts about why NOT to choose chess...
ReplyDeleteStill, I went with chess because of the Bergman cool reference.
Still ended up a d4.
i'm also a d4. the power of the dark side is strong, as always
ReplyDeleteHere's what I got:
ReplyDeleteYou are a d100: You're a bit odd, to put it mildly. We're not sure whether you're socially inept, brain damaged, or just trying to be funny. We've given up on trying to figure it out, and have to accept that it might be all three. For you, non-sequitur are the most common form of non-communication. You are given to great flashes brilliance, but don't have the attention span to carry out any of your most ingenious plans. We don't know what color the sky is in your world, and frankly, we're afraid to ask.
Any other d100s out there...?
d1oo
ReplyDeleteDo you get d100 for choosing the obviously silly answers? Like the wombat one?
ReplyDeleteThey should have given those a d5.
d4.
ReplyDeleteI think anyone who has gamed with me would agree.
Word verification: Wargal - the name of my next devious mastermind pc.
I am the completely un-rollable d4
