WTF?
ReplyDeleteI should not be watching videos like this after an all day road trip and half a bottle of wine.
"I got a fever, and the only prescription is more echo/reverb!"
ReplyDeleteLoved the generic Hanna Barbera sound effects. Pure 70s cheese.
mah haid asplode
ReplyDeleteThe sheer number of these kinds of goofy shows from my youth never fails to astound me. I vaguely remember this one (I think), but I doubt I ever watched more than 1 episode.
oh my goshness! That does seem familiar.
ReplyDeleteI love that the robot is waving to the camera at the end.
You are aware you can get a DVD of this, yes?
ReplyDeleteI watched that BITD. I had completely forgotten about it until I watched the trailer on the Ark II DVD. Blast from past.
ReplyDeleteWow I have fuzzy memories have having watched this as a kid.
ReplyDeleteFilmation Rules! That, my friend is Encounter Critical roleplaying.
ReplyDeletePlus the chick's way cute.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time, the memories come flooding back with the title sequence...but this time, nothing.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever watching this. Weird. I thought I caught every offering of the Filmation repertoire.
I love that they used the comedic whistle for both when Herc throws a boulder and when As...Ast...whatever her name was turns into a cat.
For the longest time nobody would believe me, when I talked about this show. When I originally saw it on TV it was called the young sentinels and then got changed to the space sentinels.
ReplyDeleteI have to have a screening of my DVD set for all those meatheads that thought I was making it up.
Now all I have to find are some Chocodiles. which are another treasure of youth no one belives existed - they were like Twinkie / Hoho's - gamer ambrosia back in the day.
