The sheer number of these kinds of goofy shows from my youth never fails to astound me. I vaguely remember this one (I think), but I doubt I ever watched more than 1 episode.
For the longest time nobody would believe me, when I talked about this show. When I originally saw it on TV it was called the young sentinels and then got changed to the space sentinels.
I have to have a screening of my DVD set for all those meatheads that thought I was making it up.
Now all I have to find are some Chocodiles. which are another treasure of youth no one belives existed - they were like Twinkie / Hoho's - gamer ambrosia back in the day.
Looking for some adventure roleplaying in or around Champaign-Urbana, Illinois? I currently run the original version of Traveller every other Wednesday at Armored Gopher Games in Urbana.

"You should all review Jeff Rients threefold model to even begin understanding my superiour insight."
"Man, is there anything Jeff CAN'T do when it comes to gaming? This guy is like a critical 20 every roll. Jeff can bite the heads offa five game geeks, including their sorry-ass DM, and spit 'em into a large duffel bag ONE AT A TIME!...that's just the kind of messed up bastard he is! You think yer a gamer, punk? Well..do ya? Jeff will depants your weasel-ass right in front of your grandma."
WTF?
ReplyDeleteI should not be watching videos like this after an all day road trip and half a bottle of wine.
"I got a fever, and the only prescription is more echo/reverb!"

ReplyDeleteAh, the halcyon days of my youth, when directors of Saturday morning programming knew we were a bunch of horny little bastards.
Most of the time, the memories come flooding back with the title sequence...but this time, nothing.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever watching this. Weird. I thought I caught every offering of the Filmation repertoire.
I love that they used the comedic whistle for both when Herc throws a boulder and when As...Ast...whatever her name was turns into a cat.
