this one's been on the tip of my memory for years

  1. WTF?

I should not be watching videos like this after an all day road trip and half a bottle of wine.

  2. "I got a fever, and the only prescription is more echo/reverb!"

Loved the generic Hanna Barbera sound effects. Pure 70s cheese.

The sheer number of these kinds of goofy shows from my youth never fails to astound me. I vaguely remember this one (I think), but I doubt I ever watched more than 1 episode.

  4. oh my goshness! That does seem familiar.

I love that the robot is waving to the camera at the end.

I watched that BITD. I had completely forgotten about it until I watched the trailer on the Ark II DVD. Blast from past.

  10. All the Hanna-Barbara chicks were hot.

Ah, the halcyon days of my youth, when directors of Saturday morning programming knew we were a bunch of horny little bastards.

  11. Most of the time, the memories come flooding back with the title sequence...but this time, nothing.

I don't remember ever watching this. Weird. I thought I caught every offering of the Filmation repertoire.

I love that they used the comedic whistle for both when Herc throws a boulder and when As...Ast...whatever her name was turns into a cat.

  12. For the longest time nobody would believe me, when I talked about this show. When I originally saw it on TV it was called the young sentinels and then got changed to the space sentinels.

I have to have a screening of my DVD set for all those meatheads that thought I was making it up.

Now all I have to find are some Chocodiles. which are another treasure of youth no one belives existed - they were like Twinkie / Hoho's - gamer ambrosia back in the day.
