Starting Friday I'm off to Cable, Wisconsin for a family reunion. I'll only be posting gamebloggery during the next week or so if I find an internet connection somewhere and if the mood suits me. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to post tomorrow, but otherwise expect silence here at least until a week from Saturday. Until then, stay awesome everyone!
Does anybody know of any cool game stores, comic shops, or used book outfits in the Cable area?

ReplyDeleteWhoa.
That's pretty far out there.
Dang, you'll be closer to Minneapolis/St. Paul than you are to me...
ReplyDeleteYou'll probably pass through Stevens Point on the way up (if you go the I39 route via Wausau rather than the I94/Eau Clair route). Jadeco/Games People Play is a fairly decent shop, though not terribly well stocked on RPGs. Mostly D&D, with some other miscellaneous bits here and there, plenty of GW and TCGs and board games, tons and tons of war games and models, and lots of Reaper minis.
Either way you'll pass through Madison. If you have the time, try stopping at the Last Square or Pegasus Games, both definitely worth the time off the highway.
Friends of one of my housemates own Netherworld Games in Madison...
