Last month I was a big grump about the slow progress/lack of progress/lack of communication from Phil Reed on his OGL version of the old FASERIP system from the original Marvel Superheroes game. But it looks like Phil has made good on his promise with 4C System, and I am thrilled. Not only can we put that unpleasantness behind us, but here's a new, free, OGL version of one of the best game systems of my youth. ReplyDeleteHmmm... unless I'm missing it, the oh-so-central to the whole system table is missing from the PDF version... It is supposed to be on the "back cover" but no covers are included with the PDF!

I may have to ask Phil what his thoughts are about hosting the final PDF as well
Plus they're in separate files so it makes it easier to have it on its own. :)
I've been thinking of running up some support for this through SG, and having that final PDF makes it difficult to resist doing that.
As an update, once Phil gets the updated file to me tomorrow, Seraphim Guard is going to start offering Four Color as a free download through RPGNow.com.
