I have drawn three pieces today, and this -- with no hint of irony or
self-deprecation -- is the best of them all.

current Caves of Myrddin PCs by class
Fighters - 10
Clerics - 6 (a vast improvement since last I looked at these stats)
Magic-Users - 6
Thieves - 6 (incredible, considering how much the class sucks)
Dwarves - 3
Elves - 3
Halfling - 2
Pigs - 1

Thieves only suck if the DM sucks at including intelligent swords into the treasure tables--you know, since the ability to use magic swords was *the* defining fighting-man class ability in the LBB, it shouldn't be a surprise that the thief sucks if a sword +1 isn't any better than a mace+1.
ReplyDeleteI had never consider this, UWS guy.
ReplyDeleteI usually shy away from intelligent weapons after seeing them used poorly in the past but I think I definitely need to reconsider that.
Thank you for the insight.
I am curious about how pig is nearly as popular as Halfling.
I'm curious as to how Pig isn't more popular than Halfling.
ReplyDeletePig isn't a choice, it's more of a destiny.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you use to make your pie chart?
ReplyDeleteprogram, I mean?
ReplyDeleteGoogle Docs.
ReplyDeletegoogle docs has been my go-to solution for pretty much everything for almost a year now. :)
ReplyDeleteUWS, my brain is fuddled today. Are you saying that the Thief stinks less if you give them an Intelligent Sword? What does that do to the Fighter?
ReplyDeleteJust noticed this. Awesome. I have enough money for a remove curse now, but I've officially played more as a pig than I have as a human, and I've grown quite fond of the constant challenge to my creativity it demands.
ReplyDeleteMasterpiece drawing lol
