There's an old Irish tale about a prince who learns magic from some magician with a bunch of other princes, and later, when they have a falling-out, the princes battle each other in a bunch of different forms, ending with 'flying poison lions'.

Of course, Finn goes overboard with the self-buffs and and flashy spells. Good ol' Jake knows you only really need two spells to enjoy life as a wizard - Sleep and Dispel Magic.

DeleteRe only two spells - sleep and dispel - that's like a whole campaign idea right there. That's the only two spells that exist, along with Control Dreams. That sounds like a fun place. :)
