I don't believe I've ever seen this movie all the way through.
Mince Pie Fest 2024: Waitrose No 1

These often get picked as the best supermarket mince pies by the gutter
press, so let's see. The pastry has a good texture, firm but also soft, but

It is, in fact, one of the finest performances Mr. T has ever done. Too bad the movie is pretty terrible.
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to get Mr. T back on the big screen... like NOW!
ReplyDeleteI don't believe I've ever seen this movie at all. Or even heard of it.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it does remind me of the episode of The A-Team, in which they helped a cab company deal with its murderous rivals, starring Ernie "Ghostbusters" Hudson and Michael "Nutcase" Ironside.
Saw it at the cinema when it came out.
ReplyDeleteI remember almost nothing about it.
"I don't believe I've ever seen this movie all the way through."
ReplyDeleteYeah.
I miss Shatnerday.
I thought T was silly while he was popular.
WV: Plingst - One who plays the Pling.
I remember it fairly fondly. It was definitely a throw-away movie, but it had some charm to it too. Mr. T was working on his "Tough as Nails with a Heart of Gold" persona and shared the screen with Adam "Jane Cobb" Baldwin, Gary "I'm not crazy yet" Busey, Bill "I'm not Political yet" Maher, Paul "I still have a career damnit" Rodriguez and of course The Barbarian Brothers...cuz why not.
ReplyDeleteNot an academy award winner by a long shot, but still fairly entertaining
