I used to play Mage: The Ascension.
Mages each had an Avatar inside them -- their Awakened soul, an ideal being that gave them their ability to change reality, to work magic. Further, they had kind of an idealized Reality -- the way they imagined it would be if Reality were perfect for them.

I just saw a chunk of my ideal reality in that video, and my Avatar was in it, wearing a blue dress and black tights, playing a synth.
