Let's get ready to rumble!

Coming in April: WWE Know Your Role, a d20-based OGL wrasslin' roleplaying game. There's a very substantive preview available here. Although I don't watch much WWE nowadays, this game looks hella-fun. If I were to GM this puppy I'd be tempted to set the game in an alternate universe where WCW and ECW were still giving Vinny Mac a run for his money. Also, the Four Horsemen would still kick ass. Woo!

    Or, as an alternative, you could just pretend that WWE/WWF, WCW, ECW, NWA, etc., etc., never existed and we could create our own thing.

    I guarentee that this thing, if the system isn't too wonky, will go over with the Pancake Hut crowd. A few notable exceptions are Barb and AnnMarie, but the rest of us (i.e., the guys) will be all over it like stink on a poop-pile. =P

    Just recently, Loren, Dennis, myself, and Kevin had a late night discussion about bringing back a pro wrestling-type endeavor. We've done it before in the past, and we all kind of miss it.

    Just some thoughts...

    Right. While I'd be tempted to do mid-nineties WCW/ECW/WWF but the sane thing would be to do up a little fed from scratch.

    The free preview is worth a look through. The site says it's eight pages but they've expanded it to 44. It looks a lot like d20 Modern, which for me is a good thing.

    This preview looks almost complete enough to run as is. I'm sure we'd be missing some stuff with it, but nothing that couldn't be extrapolated.
