minor mystery solved

Anybody else remember the three desert tribesman (like Space Berbers or something) from the original BattleStar Galactica? They were badass warriors with these cool glowy exploding throwing weapons and flowing hooded cloaks. Yesterday someone on RPGnet identified them for me. They are called Borellian Nomen and their weapon of choice is the laser bola.

    Jane Adams at one point had a
    Battlestar Galactica picture guidebook
    that featured them as well.
    The Laser Bola had a small writeup in Starlog's Weapons and their BG guide in #30~ish
