ReplyDeleteGreat review! You did a good job making clear both the tone and content of the game and your personal reactions to it. It sounds like a fun game to read, though the mechanics aren't tremendously appealing to me.

ReplyDeleteDoing the Wraeththu thing first helped a lot with this. I couldn't review that thing at all until I decided to compartmentalize the game itself versus my reactions to the source material and all the RPGnet drama surrounding it.
Interesting game, good review. The "orc girls on roller skates" made me think of Knights of the Dinner Table's Abe, Babes & Rollerblades. That would be such a cool game were it not fictional...
