The Egyptian (Danger) Zone
-
Stuart and I played my Danger Zone mission -- for Stargrave and similar
skirmish wargames -- last week. Stuart's summary is here and I have nothing
to add,...

There's an old Irish tale about a prince who learns magic from some magician with a bunch of other princes, and later, when they have a falling-out, the princes battle each other in a bunch of different forms, ending with 'flying poison lions'.
ReplyDeleteIrish hero tales were cartoons from before cartoons.
Of course, Finn goes overboard with the self-buffs and and flashy spells. Good ol' Jake knows you only really need two spells to enjoy life as a wizard - Sleep and Dispel Magic.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the never ending supply of mayonnaise and the awesome hairdo.
DeleteRe only two spells - sleep and dispel - that's like a whole campaign idea right there. That's the only two spells that exist, along with Control Dreams. That sounds like a fun place. :)
DeleteThat's so rhombus and mathematical! It's always time for Adventure Time.
ReplyDeleteSleep!
ReplyDeleteJake rules.
"Man, I got crap to do! Anyway, here's a wizard"
ReplyDeleteI think that's the first time that phrase has ever been uttered in the history of humanity.
