    If only we'd be assured of a long line of Shatners to rule us, I think the United States would happily kneel to a Monarchy and be done with this faddish "independence" thing.

    It's not legal, I suppose, for Shatner to be President, since he's Canadian, but as our benevolent King, he could abolish that with a boyish grin and a dismissive wave of his communicator.
