If you don't mind vegetables instead of fruit, Old Glory Miniatures makes a rules set and miniatures line called the Wars of Ozz (idiotic spelling change to keep Baum's estate off their backs, I guess) that features units of pumpkin men in a variety of sizes. Currently on the last few days for a Kickstarter expansion that adds corn- and fungus-men to the mix. It's something to see, even if I don't really get the appeal personally.

Must be something in the water. A friend of mine recently published a supplement of fruit-based classes for Pathfinder ("Fruits of the Spirit").
