Sett, I can't tell you the last time I played an RPG with someone who used a dice cup. Or even seen someone using one at any of the various local cons I frequent. I don't recall ayone using them at Gary Con.
I realized toward the end that I think I have that exact duffel bag in the basement with most of a troll costume stuffed in it.
@Sett & Jeff: I'd never used or heard of anyone using a dice cup until I went to a Logan's Roadhouse recently where you can get a mini dessert in a little metal bucket and keep the bucket. Now I rattle my dice in that thing almost religiously. It's wonderfully loud and obnoxious.
This was pretty good. I carry way less stuff than you do, however. I DID get a dice cup this year at GenCon (from Koplow, which is like the also-ran of the dice world), and used it all the way through. I like it! Mine has a convenient lid so I can store the dice in there.
Cool video! I am very tempted to do the same...
ReplyDeleteLove the video - nice change of pace. Totally bringing Beowulf with me from now on.
ReplyDeleteMan! How much volume does that duffel of holding have??
ReplyDelete"Totally bringing Beowulf with me from now on."
ReplyDeleteThat trick works with anything that has a cast of thousands with evocative names. I've also used the Iliad and the Bible.
Thanks for doing something new- the v blog is a nice change up.
ReplyDeleteHow about a video all about Arduin,( if you are taking requests) that is ....
Now that is what I call a "bag of holding"!
ReplyDeleteI can definitely sympathise with regards to the pencil issue!
ReplyDeleteRight on, man. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought I lugged around a lot of stuff. Wow. :) Oh yes, and pencils. Gotta buy em in bulk.
ReplyDelete- Ark
Very fun to watch and insightful.
ReplyDeleteI loved how dawn crept in during the shoot.
Wait, no dice cup! Again!

ReplyDeleteAs to the bag having been swiped, isn't that how everyone gets bags?
ReplyDelete195 views!
ReplyDeleteThat is one steep jar of hooch!
ReplyDeleteNice to see the Unknown Gods being used - I use a deity or two out of it now and again myself.
Unknown Gods. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteVerbosh. Hmmm.
Now I get these... ideas...
"...I'm not sure honey, that gentleman who always wear the loud shirts is talking to himself on his balcony..."
ReplyDeleteVery cool Jeff!
ReplyDeletenice to see the "sketch your character and it will die immediately" curse reaches all the way to the midwest
