I always thought one of the coolest concepts was in Aldus Huxley's Brave New World where, over the generations, religion got somehow (but not surprisingly) mixed up in history and the characters made reference to "The year of our Ford..." and made the sign of the 'T' as in model T.
That's hilarious! A player in my gaming group always fields a band of black-robed cultists in our pulp games. I'm definitely sharing this with our group!
I always thought that was the best shot in that movie, even if it doesn't make a lot of sense.

ReplyDeleteAwesome, what movie is it from?
ReplyDeleteInstead of post-apoc, I'd go with modern occult. Car necromancers, who imbue abandoned automobiles with evil spirits to create Christine and The Car.

I believe that's from COVEN (pronounced "COH-VEN" b/c "CUH-VEN" sounds like oven, man) but mostly known from American Movie.
Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteI think so, not sure :)
