One of my contributions to this issue is an interview with Mr. Otus. It was my first time interviewing anyone for anything, so it may be a little rough. Mr. Otus was a cool cat but it was still intimidating. Have I mentioned lately that I have
a shrine to this guy? Intimidating as hell, my friends.
as we say on the nerdy invite only punk board....ORDERED!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good interview - you done good work! Better than I did with Dave Arneson in FO#2, for sure. Erol let us reprint "Pit Fiend and Friends" with your interview, also, so it looks good too.
ReplyDeleteReaders of the blog will already have seen your other cool article, but anyway, thanks for all your help!

That is totally wicked!
ReplyDeleteGreat issue and nice interview! I couldn't wait and ordered the pdf and read at lunch today
ReplyDeleteAnd look at that cover! Holy Keerap, that thing is mind-blowing. Love the signature handle-bar moustache on the captain. He's like a biker-brainiac space pirate. I hope you are adding that image to your shrine!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like Erol Otus when I was a puppy kid playin' first edition AD&D... but he's very much grown on me as I've gotten older.
ReplyDeleteWay cool interview and cover! I really enjoyed this issue.
