On a day out to warwick castle we went to the souvenir shop afterwards and tried to find our family crests. Most of them were lions rampant etc but my friend was pretty disappointed to find his family coat of arms was three hedgehogs. Ooh they prickle if you try to pick them up.
My parents are from Scotland, so I looked my Coat of Arms a long time ago. No lions or bears. Doves. Freaken' doves on my family coat of arms. There was a shield and axe too, but c'mon.
Aaaw, how cute, a bear and its cub..er...wait...club! <>
ReplyDeleteNow THAT's just adding insult to injury. A character faces a fearsome bear's teeth and claws and gets whacked by a large stick too...
Nice design though.
Ciao!
It's a dude. On a bear. With a club. Is he riding the bear? Or attempting to subdue it.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter. This was awesome for a Friday.

ReplyDeleteEveryone knows that bear cavalry is the coolest and most dangerous form of cavalry there is.
Horses are for wimps.
Dragons are for the pretentious.
Spiders are pretty sweet, but they're still not bears.
Riding bears into battle is second only to riding wolves in terms of sheer awesomeness.
ReplyDeleteOf course I might be biased.
Bear Club for Men?
ReplyDelete"I ride a bear! Don't mess with me!"
ReplyDeleteWhose is it?

ReplyDelete@norman harman
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Is there a motivational poster out there for every possible occasion?
"Nature, red in tooth and claw" indeed!
ReplyDeleteLapua, I like municipal heraldics of
ReplyDeleteMaaninka and Luhanka more.

"Oh look, it's Jack Bearclubber."
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a crest for this place:
ReplyDeleteČeský Krumlov Castle
Any random room table needs to have an ursinarium in it.
