Just heard about this on Metafilter. It's sad to see him go, but he had a GREAT run and brought happiness to millions. I hope he's enjoying whatever Good-aligned Outer Plane he finds himself on :)
He opened the gateway to this weirdness for me, for which I'm eternally grateful. Rest easy.
I'm thinking about doing something special during Tonight's game. Something epic.Maybe it's finally time that I purged out all of the borrowed Greyhawk deities in my campaign.
Just this morning I was rolling up Hordelings from his Monster Manual II.It's tough to sum up just how much of an impact his work has had on me.Thanks for the fun times, Gary.
