That is the strangest coincidence. I just found that exact Empire of the Petal Throne page this morning. Was super cheesed about it, pretty much all the articles from The Strategic Review were in there.
S. John, I thought that graphic looked familiar, but I couldn't immediately place it. I probably haven't been to the HexPaper page since I bought the pre-hexes-with-corners version. If pressed I probably would have guessed that isometric map was cribbed from the old Dungeoneer's Survival Guide.
Heh, good linkage as always. Here's a link for you in return! Thundarr RPG! Dunno if you've ever seen it...you mention Thundarr some, so thought I would pass it along.
Thanks for the link to Stupid Comics. The 2000 AD/Judge Dredd panel with Ronald McDonald made my day.
ReplyDeleteI think this makes it a trilogy of tuning into the gameblog to find a link to someone, er ... borrowing my work without permission. Sigh :)

ReplyDeleteNah, in the DSG they probably got the columns right :) I have 'em leaning every which way ...
ReplyDelete...and now it's all fixed :)
