I am in total disagreement here. I DEMAND more photo covers! It gives people something attainable to aspire to; "Go ahead, TRY and be cooler than this fat guy dressed like a seductive female barmaid!"
Silly is endearing :) And I've always loved that cover.
Speaking of photos, I miss the Games Workshop tradition of including photos of supplement authors in the books. Nothing humbles a game writer more effectively than a mug-shot!
On the other hand, that old photo of Sandy Petersen in CoC was downright eerie in a hokey way, what with the campfire-flashlight thing going on. :)
