Phil Reed reports that he will begin in earnest on Monday, but he's got a bit of preliminary stuff already done. More information available at the official FASERIP forum. Dig this snazzy resolution chart:
Those colours are messed up. Black > Red > Orange > Yellow ? White > Yellow > Orange > Red would be much better. Or maybe... White > Green > Yellow > Red ?
Still -- very cool to see work is underway on this!
I'm intrigued... but also wondering why that master table says "2d10/d100 roll" when those are two different things and clearly the values on the table are from a 1d100 roll, aka the roll of "percentile dice". Of course, that IS accomplished with two d10s, but not 2d10, which implies a range of 2-20, not 00-99 or 1-100 (that also is strange, most games I've seen that use percentile dice consider a roll of "00" to equal 100, but this on this chart, a roll of "00" is a low roll, not a high one. Perhaps this is just the way it is in FASERIP, I don't remember... curious though.
Seriously. I'm running FASERIP again SOON.
