Behold, the Osprey!

The Osprey, one of the most minor characters in the Marvel universe, finally has his own entry at The Unofficial Handbook of the Marvel Universe. He only appeared in two panels of one issue of the Fantastic Four in '76. I only knew of his existence because the Osprey is used in an example in the advanced rulebook for the old Marvel Super Heroes rpg from TSR. The picture of him in the game was black and white, so for all these years I've wondered what the color scheme for his costume was like. Now I can sleep at night, knowing this hidden arcana.


I wasn't expecting him to so blatantly bite Superman's style. Here was the guess I made back in June of last year when I did a microhero of Osprey:
