I mean we were in a CAVE, bears live in caves. We fought off dragons before, how could a mere bears menace such seasoned explorers? Clearly they had some sort of super bears. What if the Wizard sent the bear after us? Could we be dealing with a Bear-Mage?

And then the torches started to burn out (several of the better equipped characters had become bear chow.) Something big and lumbering entered the cavern. The Fighter screamed. the figure charges. And the only thing he sees as the figure bears down on him is an Axe bearly miss his head, and he screams "Axe-Bear!"

It turned out to be an ogre, but the Axe-Bear has been the boogy man in our games ever since.BlUsKrEEmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05050270487818381832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-15746054067505858152010-03-11T22:02:34.026-06:002010-03-11T22:02:34.026-06:00They're "nature's fish slapping tanks...They're "nature's fish slapping tanks" as Seanbaby once said...

Yay for bears.BigFellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03052419088140204154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-27121159794170943882010-03-11T21:29:32.279-06:002010-03-11T21:29:32.279-06:00Shakespeare would agree. Shaved bears will behave in an unpredictable fashion, often fleeing out of shame, yet also capable of desperate berserker-like attacks. Contact with a shaved bear has the same effect as an aged gypsy hooker, but these creatures do not hunger for or consume cheap jewelry. If a shaved bear hits a single target with both claw attacks it automatically hugs the victim for an additional 2d8 damage as the victim is scraped by the bear’s stubble.Bob Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12073807225519106277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-80858280003361988662010-03-11T19:43:54.389-06:002010-03-11T19:43:54.389-06:00Oh Fuck!
