I don't want to sound like a spruike...Hey Jeff! I don't want to sound like a spruiker for Hasbro, however, I recently picked up a copy of a game they recently put out: Battleship - Galaxies. Whilst I don't know if I'll play the rules that came in the box, I know I'll be using the sweet minis and space hex-mats that came in the box to play FLEET CAPTAINS when the rules are released! Pumped for some spaceship shenanigans. At around 50$ us (43 I think online through amazon) for 20 really well-done spaceship minis from two factions, plus a pretty sweet space hex-map, it's worth it for the components alone. I'm pumped to hit up some Fleet Captains baby.O. G. R. The capital ships really are the focus, so the fighters really ought to be more about tying up capital lasers and occasionally doing some damage on the side, right?<br /><br />But the fact that your anti-capital missiles are on small craft, not launched from capital ships, makes me kinda want to agree with Lasgunpacker. Those missile boats should be ungainly, methinks, and they should be primary targets for capital ships.<br /><br />Maybe missile boats move a flat, slow rate each turn, and X-wings and battle shuttles and death gliders all have the "practically teleport" rule?<br /><br />Or perhaps something else for the fighters - as a third alternate - you can't practically teleport, but you can jump to the nearest capital ship in any one facing cone. Maybe so.
