It is in a temporal sense and the Cook Expert Rules at least make reference to its existence, but I don't see much evidence of descent. Holmes was, in intention, meant to bridge the gap between OD&D and the then-unpublished AD&D by clarifying the former and laying the groundwork for the latter. In point of fact, it wound up being its own unique thing, with its Dex-based initiative system and magic missiles that require to hit rolls. I love Holmes and think it should get its own branch on that chart.James Maliszewskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00341941102398271464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-48395422349180768992008-12-05T10:43:00.000-06:002008-12-05T10:43:00.000-06:00Wowsa, Demons & Dragons is super dobrze!Wowsa, Demons & Dragons is super dobrze!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-64581946381622466862008-12-05T10:01:00.000-06:002008-12-05T10:01:00.000-06:00Seconding the OSRIC query.
