It's amazingly hideous; it's the kind of dicebag that Whitesnake might've used it they played RPGs... or maybe some obnoxious early-90s hip-hop group. Vanilla Ice, definitely would've used this bag.Adam Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16931127741458835543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-1162211970324098762006-10-30T06:39:00.000-06:002006-10-30T06:39:00.000-06:00Ummm...Perhaps this indicates that I have too many...Ummm...

Perhaps this indicates that I have too many dice... =P

...but I keep the dice I am not currently using for various games in a 5-quart ice cream bucket... and it's FULL.

The excess/dice I use are kept in a small bank deposit bag (the kind you can get at Wal-Mart) along with a few bookmarks, pens, pencils, and battlemat pens.

So, in conclusion, everyone else may have a cooler dice container, but mine is bigger, and as we all know... SIZE MATTERS. =P

peace... Each was in its own little blue bag. I nearly bought one because I've never actually owned a Crown Royal dice bag and because they looked so cute compared to the regular sized ones.Jeff Rientshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17493878980535235896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-1162188761292516652006-10-30T00:12:00.000-06:002006-10-30T00:12:00.000-06:00I think my dicebag is pretty cool. I made it out of teal-colored fabric with a blue satin drawstring, and it has my initials on it in the form of a panel of loomed black-and-teal beadwork almost as long as my hand and three fingers high. The ends of the drawstrings have matching bead tassels.

I need to remake it, though. It's more than ten years old, and the d4 corners are starting to take their toll. Fortunately, I can re-use the beadwork and I have more of the same fabric.

I'll make the next bag bigger. My main playing dice all fit, but I have a bunch more that currently reside in the glass base of a lamp, and a handful in a Crown Royal bag for reasons of tradition.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-1162181032300140352006-10-29T22:03:00.000-06:002006-10-29T22:03:00.000-06:00I don't have a single main dicebag; I keep my dice...I don't have a single main dicebag; I keep my dice spread across special-purpose dicebags of many styles ... an all six-siders one for Risus/Car Wars, etc ... one just for Fudge Dice ... a general-mix for when someone runs an old TSR game (like last year's groovy Gamma World 4th campaign), etc.

I've got silky ones, rough ones, black ones, tan ones, red ones ... I've got Bertie Bott's jellybean bags, skull-and-crossbone pouches, leathery ones, etc.

Oddly, I do _not_ currently own "the prince of dice bags," the inestimable Crown Royal bag. I do, however, consider it one of the primary gamer totems, right up there with graph paper.

The coolest dice bag I've ever seen was a handmade leather one with years of wear on it ... it had that awesome suppleness and worn-smooth texture that only real leather that's seen real use can have. Saw it at a con. Stared enviously for a bit. Everything about it said "for-real D&D belt-pouch eagerly awaiting gems and platinum pieces."

Or, barring that, awaiting stuff like this http://www.joelscoins.com/middleearth.htm

My oldest dice-bag is from my own ass: a handmade denim bag made from my own jeans pocket when I was 16. I no longer keep dice in it, though; it's my Uresian (Temphis) runestone bag nowadays.

I just like saying "my oldest dice-bag is from my own ass."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652921.post-1162165076943450902006-10-29T17:37:00.000-06:002006-10-29T17:37:00.000-06:00I keep my dice in a round rubbermaid/tupperware co...I keep my dice in a round rubbermaid/tupperware container.
